This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, user manuals, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of the pitch-control system for grid-connected wind turbines. This standard applies to grid-connected horizontal-axis (three-blade) wind turbines with pitch-control systems, where the pitch-control drive method is either hydraulic or electric.
