LY/T 2500.3-2015 Live wild animal transport container—Part 3:General rule
Abstract
This part specifies the general requirements and loading densities for live wild animal transport containers.
This part applies to the design and manufacture of transport containers for live wild animals such as artificially reared deer or antelopes, birds, flightless birds, primates and arboreal mammals, amphibians and reptiles, as well as undomesticated mammals. It can also be used as a reference for the design and manufacture of transport containers for companion animals, livestock, laboratory animals, etc.
This part does not apply to the design and manufacture of the following transport containers:
a) Hard plastic transport containers;
b) Aquatic animal transport containers;
c) Insect and bee transport containers;
d) Transport containers for animals free from specific pathogens.
