GB/T 8721-2009 Method for the determination of tensile strength of carbonaceous materials
Abstract
This standard specifies the principles of tensile strength determination for carbon materials, the instruments and equipment used, the specimens, the experimental steps, and the calculation of the results. This standard is applicable to the determination of the tensile strength of carbon materials at room temperature. The diameter of the test area (the area of the parallel section in the middle of the specimen) should be no less than three times the maximum visible aggregate size in the material being tested.
