Abstract
This document describes the terms and definitions, testing principles, requirements, instrumentation, sample preparation, and measurement for analyzing CCA and ACQ-treated wood and wood preservatives using X-ray fluorescence spectrometers.
This document is applicable to the determination of the active ingredients such as copper oxide, chromium trioxide, and arsenic pentoxide in CCA and ACQ-treated wood and wood preservatives, as well as the determination of other wood preservatives containing these active ingredients.
