Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, specifications, models and examples, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of laboratory variable air volume exhaust hoods (hereinafter referred to as variable air volume exhaust hoods).
This standard applies to variable air volume exhaust hoods manufactured in factories.
This standard does not apply to variable air volume exhaust hoods equipped with activated carbon filters or high-efficiency filters.
