Abstract
This document describes the measurement methods for the relative light output of scintillators, the relative energy conversion efficiency, the α-β ratio, the inherent pulse amplitude resolution, the scintillation light attenuation length, the emission spectrum, the time characteristics, the irradiation hardness, the inherent radioactivity level, the β-γ ratio and the n-γ ratio, the temperature effect, the non-uniformity of scintillator arrays, and optical crosstalk. This document is applicable to the performance measurement of commonly used solid scintillators.
