Abstract
This part of GB/T 3286 specifies the determination of calcium oxide and magnesium oxide content by complexometric titration and the determination of magnesium oxide content by atomic absorption spectrometry.
This part is applicable to the determination of calcium oxide and magnesium oxide content in limestone and dolomite, and also to the determination of calcium oxide and magnesium oxide content in metallurgical lime. For complexometric titration, the determination range (mass fraction) is: calcium oxide content greater than 20%, magnesium oxide content greater than 2.5%; for atomic absorption spectrometry, the determination range (mass fraction) is: magnesium oxide content 0.1%~2.5%.
