This part of YS/T 118 specifies the reference standards for measuring and calculating the heat balance of converters during smelting, an overview of the equipment and the production process, the conditions for measuring the heat balance, the items and methods of measuring the heat balance, material balance, heat balance, main energy consumption indicators, and the analysis of the results of heat balance measurement and improvement suggestions.
This part is applicable to horizontal converters used for smelting copper matte or low-ice nickel.
