GB/T 5211.16-2007 Comparison of lightening power of white pigments
Abstract
This section specifies a general test method for comparing the bleaching ability of white pigments with that of similar commercial pigments. The standard describes two methods (A and B). Method A is faster than Method B and is suitable for testing individual pigment samples. For testing multiple samples, Method B is better, especially for pigment samples with unknown bleaching ability. Note: When this general method is applicable to a specified pigment, the product standard for that pigment should indicate this method and specify any detailed changes required due to the characteristics of the pigment. Only when this general method is not applicable to a particular pigment is a special method specified to compare the bleaching ability of white pigments.
