Abstract
This standard specifies the structure, models, and markings, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings, labels, packaging, storage, and transportation of industrial variable-speed wide V-belts (hereinafter referred to as "wide V-belts"). This standard applies to wide V-belts used for transmission in the speed-change devices of general industrial machinery. This standard does not apply to V-belts used in motor vehicles and agricultural machinery.
