Abstract
This document specifically clarifies the parameters of the message transmission system required for business transactions and message definitions. Changes in the message transmission parameters can affect business transactions and message definitions.
Each business transaction module in the ISO 20022 library is associated with a message transmission mode, which determines the values of the message transmission parameters.
This document does not explicitly define the physical-level interoperability of message transmission. The overall structure is a layered specification, so ISO 20022 can be implemented on many message transmissions. This document only defines the features required for interoperability at the business process and message level.
