Scope

1.0.1 In order to implement the national technical and economic policies in the design of coal washing projects, unify and standardize the technology and engineering construction standards for coal processing and utilization, improve the quality of coal utilization, rationally utilize resources, and meet the requirements of energy conservation, environmental protection, and safe production, these regulations are formulated. 1.0.2 These regulations apply to the preliminary feasibility study, feasibility study, and design of new, reconstructed, and expanded coal washing, coal storage and distribution projects. 1.0.3 Coal washing projects should promote clean coal technology. Thermal coal should be processed and sold after processing. 1.0.4 The preliminary feasibility study, feasibility study, and design of coal washing projects shall, in addition to complying with these regulations, also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
