Scope
This part of GB/T 24369 specifies the characterization method of the ultraviolet/visible/near-infrared absorption spectra of gold nanorods and the calculation of the average axial ratio using the absorption peak position.
This part is applicable to the characterization of cylindrical gold nanorods with an axial ratio of 2~5 and a diameter of less than 30 nm.
The characterization of the ultraviolet/visible/near-infrared absorption spectra of other noble metal nanostructures can also be carried out according to this part.
