Scope

This document stipulates the general requirements for port operations of solid bulk dangerous goods, including loading and unloading operations, horizontal transportation operations, storage operations, operational information, and emergency safety requirements.
This document applies to the port operations of Class 4, Category 5.1 (except ammonium nitrate), Class 8, and Class 9 solid bulk dangerous goods as specified by IMO IMSBC.
This document does not apply to the port operations of Class 7 solid bulk dangerous goods as specified by IMO IMSBC.
