Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for self-monitoring by wastewater discharge units in the metal casting industry, the formulation of monitoring plans, and the basic contents and requirements for information recording and reporting. This standard applies to self-monitoring by wastewater discharge units in the metal casting industry during the production and operation phase of their discharged water and air pollutants, noise, and their impact on the surrounding environmental quality. The self-monitoring requirements for self-owned thermal power generating units (plants) and supporting power boilers shall be implemented in accordance with HJ 820.
