Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for forged socket-weld and threaded tees, including their types and designations, product structure, grades, pipe dimensions, order details, dimensions and tolerances, materials, manufacturing, heat treatment, inspection and testing, and marking. This standard applies to socket-weld and threaded tees used in industrial piping systems with a nominal size not exceeding DN80 (NPS 3) and a grade of Class 3000.
