This document specifies the general and special requirements for the materials used in the manufacture of welding, cutting, and heating equipment and related processes.
Where other requirements for materials are specified in certain equipment standards, these requirements shall be followed accordingly.
This document does not apply to rubber hoses used in gas welding equipment.
