Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, statistical scope, and calculation methods for the energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption") limits of major processes in crude steel production, as well as energy-saving management and measures. This standard applies to the calculation and assessment of unit product energy consumption in the sintering process (excluding pelletizing), blast furnace process, converter process, and electric furnace process in steel enterprises, as well as the energy consumption control of newly constructed equipment.
