This standard specifies the determination of the particle size distribution of metal powders by dry sieving.
This standard applies to dry, lubricant-free metal powders.
This standard does not apply to metal powders with significantly non-spherical shapes (such as flakes) and metal powders with all or most of the particle sizes being less than 45 μm.
