Scope

This part of GB/T 19545 specifies the requirements and test methods for elbow crutches equipped with handles and legs, and stipulates the test methods for separation, static load, fatigue, and low temperature of elbow crutches.
This part of GB/T 19545 also provides relevant requirements for safety, human parameters, performance, and manufacturer-provided information (including markings and labels).
The requirements and test methods in this part are based on the elbow crutches being used in daily walking under the maximum user weight specified by the manufacturer. This part of GB/T 19545 applies to elbow crutches with a user weight of not less than 35 kg.
This part does not address the requirements and test methods for the friction of the legs relative to the walking surface.
