Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 14728 specifies the static stability, braking performance, static load, and fatigue requirements and test methods for desktop walkers (excluding additional equipment unless otherwise specified during the specific test). This part also provides requirements related to safety, ergonomic performance, marking, labeling, and manufacturer-provided information.
This part applies to all desktop walkers with three or more wheels, supporting legs, and supported by a supporting platform or forearm support bracket.
The requirements and testing methods in this part are based on the daily use of desktop walkers. Manufacturers explicitly specify the maximum weight of desktop walker users. This part applies to desktop walkers with a user weight of not less than 35 kg.
