Basic Information

Standard Code: GB/T 5202-2008
Standard Type: National standards
Standard Status: Active
is_force_gb: no
CCS Name: Radiation protection instruments
ICS Name: Radiation protection
Publish Date: 2008-01-22
Implement Date: 2008-09-01

Scope

This standard applies to surface contamination measuring instruments and monitors that directly measure or detect the emission of alpha and/or beta nuclides, which at least include: — Detection devices (including counting tubes, scintillation detectors, or semiconductor detectors, etc.), which can be fixedly connected or connected by a flexible cable, or form a separate device; — Measurement devices. Some measuring instruments and monitors consist of detection devices and measurement devices. When the detection devices can be separated from the instruments, the detection devices can be used independently. To meet the requirements of this standard, all instruments that include detection devices and measurement devices must comply with the requirements of this standard, or the detection devices and measurement devices must each comply with the relevant requirements of this standard.
