Scope
This document describes the determination methods for aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, silicon dioxide, iron oxide, titanium dioxide, potassium oxide, sodium oxide, chloride ions, carbon, sulfur, pH value, and loss on ignition in corundum powder.
This document is applicable to the chemical analysis of corundum powder with an aluminum oxide content (by mass) of not less than 90%.
