Scope
This standard specifies the test method for determining the density of solid and semi-solid petroleum asphalt using the pycnometer method. This standard is not applicable to the determination of the density of solid petroleum asphalt with a relative density of less than 1.000. This standard does not address safety requirements for use. It is the responsibility of the standard users to establish appropriate safety application procedures before use.
