Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the maturity of cotton fibers based on the method of comparing the cell wall of cotton fibers or the method of polarized maturity tester. This standard is applicable to the testing of fine-staple cotton, long-staple cotton, and chemically untreated cotton yarns, as well as the maturity coefficient, maturity ratio, and maturity fiber percentage of cotton fibers after untwisting.
