Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of seawater gravity-type net cages, hydrological environmental surveys, general design principles, floating frame system design, net cloth system design, and anchoring system design requirements.
This standard applies to the structural design of seawater gravity-type net cages made of high-density polyethylene pipes or galvanized steel pipes and floating on the water surface. It is suitable for polyethylene pipe frame net cages with a water depth of less than 20 m and a circumference of less than 120 m, or galvanized steel pipe frame net cages with a circumference of less than 60 m. Other similar types of seawater net cage designs can be referenced for implementation.
