Scope
This guidance technical document specifies the factory inspection tests, on-site handover tests, start-up trial runs, performance tests, and type tests applicable to the testing and inspection of 1,000 MW-class three-phase salient-pole synchronous generators (hereinafter referred to as hydroelectric generators). This guidance technical document is applicable to hydroelectric generators with a capacity of 800 MW or more.
