Scope
This guidance technical document specifies the main technical parameters and performance requirements of 1,000 MW three-phase salient-pole synchronous hydroelectric generators (hereinafter referred to as hydroelectric generators), their overall structural design, the structure of major components, the principles of material selection, working stress, and evaluation criteria, etc.
This guidance technical document is applicable to three-phase salient-pole synchronous hydroelectric generators with a capacity of 800 MW or more.
