Scope

This document provides guidance on the consistency of financial and non-financial functions in asset management activities to improve internal controls as part of an organization's management system. The consistency of these functions will realize the value obtained through the implementation of asset management as detailed in GB/T 33172, GB/T 33173, and ISO 55002, especially Appendix F of ISO 55002:2018. The guidance provided in this document is consistent with the requirements of GB/T 33173 for asset management systems, but does not add new requirements to GB/T 33173 or provide interpretations of GB/T 33173's requirements.
