Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for mercury-releasing getter materials used in fluorescent lamps, energy-saving lamps, and cold cathode lamps, as well as the test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and the content of purchase orders (or contracts). This standard applies to cylindrical and strip-shaped mercury-releasing getter composite materials made of nickel, iron, and their alloys, which are equipped with mercury-releasing alloys and getter alloy powders, and are used in various fluorescent lamps, energy-saving lamps, and cold cathode lamps as mercury-releasing getter components.
