Scope

This standard specifies the microcoulometry method for determining organic halides (excluding organic fluorides) adsorbed on activated carbon in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of adsorbable organic halides in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage, and industrial wastewater. The determination results of this standard include the adsorbable organic halides in water samples. When the sampling volume is 100 ml, the detection limit of this method is 0.007 mg/L, and the determination limit is 0.028 mg/L.
