Scope
This standard specifies the test method for determining ionic impurities in electrical insulating materials using liquid extraction.
This standard is applicable to the determination of ionized soluble organic or inorganic substances in electrical insulating materials, and their presence is verified by the increase in the volume conductivity of the extraction solution.
