Scope
This document specifies the product classification and code, technical requirements, test methods, inspection and judgment rules, as well as packaging, marking, transportation, and storage for kiln furnishings used in industrial ceramic kilns. This document is applicable to kiln furnishings used in industrial ceramic kilns with operating temperatures ranging from 1200°C to 1700°C, and primarily made of silicon carbide, corundum, mullite, and corundum.
