Scope
This standard specifies the structure, performance requirements, test methods, and required test results of electrical rudder angle indicators, based on the requirements of Article 19.2.5.4 of Chapter V of SOLAS (amended in 2000) in 1974.
This standard is associated with IMO Resolution A.694(17) and IEC 60945 standard.
Where the requirements of this standard differ from those of IEC 60945, the requirements of this standard shall prevail.
