Scope
This guidance technical document specifies the main technical parameters and performance requirements, as well as the overall structural design of 1,000 MW-class mixed-flow turbines. This guidance technical document is applicable to the preparation of bidding documents, design, manufacturing, installation, and operation of 1,000 MW-class mixed-flow turbines, serving as a guide and reference. The 1,000 MW-class mixed-flow turbines referred to in this guidance technical document are those with a rated power (or nameplate power) of 862 MW to 1,100 MW and a rated water head range of 100 m to 300 m.
