Scope

This document specifies the requirements for vertical mixed-flow and axial-flow turbines, horizontal mixed-flow turbines, bucket-type turbines, speed regulation systems, main valves and accessories of turbines, vertical hydroelectric generators, horizontal hydroelectric generators, excitation systems and static frequency converter starting devices (SFC), bulb-type hydroelectric generator sets, and the installation and commissioning of auxiliary equipment for hydroelectric power stations, as well as the electrical testing of the stators and rotors of hydroelectric generators and the start-up and trial operation of hydroelectric generator sets.
This document is applicable to the installation and acceptance of mixed-flow, axial-flow, bucket-type, and bulb-type hydroelectric generator sets, as well as mixed-flow reversible pumped storage units.
