Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of hydraulic slag guns, models, types, and parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to blast furnaces with a capacity of 400m3 to 5800m3 and COREX reduction-type blast furnaces with equivalent production capacity, as well as hydraulic slag guns that use hydraulic oil or other mineral oils with equivalent performance as the hydraulic power medium and employ refractory slagging materials to block the tapholes of blast furnaces. Other similar slagging guns can also be used as reference.
