Scope

This standard specifies a colorimetric method for semi-quantitative determination of ammonia content in phenolic molded products. Note: This standard is not applicable to the determination of the absolute amount of ammonia. When it is necessary to consider the corrosion of metal inserts or food contamination caused by contact with molded products, the determination of ammonia content in molded products is particularly important.
