Scope
This procedure is applicable to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of formaldehyde gas detectors (hereinafter referred to as "instruments") that use the principles of electrochemical sensors and semiconductor gas sensors to measure the formaldehyde content in the air. The verification limit of this procedure is 1.5 μmol/mol. It is not applicable to formaldehyde gas detectors based on the colorimetric principle.
