Scope

This standard specifies the types, models, specifications, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, and packaging of industrial wire-woven dense mesh. This standard applies to wire-woven dense meshes used for gas and liquid filtration and other media separation applications. This standard applies to wire-woven dense meshes with a nominal pore size ranging from 0.003 mm to 0.347 mm (hereinafter referred to as "dense meshes").
