Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the content of six phthalate plasticizers (DBP, BBP, DEHP, DNOP, DINP, and DIDP) in rubber products using a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GCMS) instrument. The English names, CAS numbers, and molecular formulas of the six phthalate plasticizers are listed in Appendix A.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of six phthalate plasticizers in rubber products.
