Scope
This standard specifies the dimensions, test methods, and requirements for single-core 60 V and 600 V wires used in road vehicles, as well as the additional test methods and requirements for 600 V wires.
This standard applies to single-core wires used in road vehicles, as well as to individual cores in multi-core cables.
Eight temperature grades are specified, as shown in Table 1.
