Basic Information
Scope
Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage for ready-to-eat kiwis. This standard applies to delicious kiwis that can be eaten directly, such as Cui Xiang, Xu Xiang, and Hayward. Main technical content: 5.1 Sensory inspection shall be conducted in accordance with NY/T 1794. 5.2 The soluble solids content shall be tested at the middle position of the kiwi fruit in the longitudinal direction (from the calyx to the stem end) and in the transverse direction (the two opposite sides of the flattened fruit at its widest point). The test shall be conducted in accordance with the method specified in NY/T 2637. 5.3 The flesh hardness shall be tested in accordance with NY/T 2009. Samples shall be taken at the middle position of the kiwi fruit in the longitudinal direction (from the calyx to the stem end) and in the transverse direction (the two opposite sides of the flattened fruit at its widest point). A thin layer of peel (recommended thickness: 1mm) shall be removed from the selected positions using a peeler. The hardness of the kiwi fruit flesh shall be measured by applying a vertical and uniform pressure with an 8mm hardness gauge to the flesh tissue of the kiwi fruit. The pressure that the flesh can withstand shall be recorded as the hardness of the kiwi fruit flesh. The depth of the gauge into the fruit shall be consistent with the markings on the gauge, and the reading F shall be recorded, with two decimal places retained. P = F / (πr2) (where P is the hardness of the kiwi fruit in kg/cm2, F is the hardness in kg, π is 3.14, and r is the radius of the hardness gauge in cm). 5.4 The core hardness shall be tested in accordance with NY/T 2009. Samples shall be taken at the middle position of the kiwi fruit in the longitudinal direction (from the calyx to the stem end) and in the transverse direction (the two opposite sides of the flattened fruit at
