Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for geothermal power stations connecting to the power system, including active power, reactive capacity, voltage control, operational adaptability, power quality, voltage levels and wiring methods, relay protection and safety automatic devices, dispatch automation, and communication systems. This standard applies to new (modified or expanded) geothermal power stations connected to the power system through lines with voltage levels of 35 kV and above. Geothermal power stations connected to the power system through other voltage levels may refer to and implement this standard accordingly.
