Scope
This guidance technical document outlines the purpose and role of electromagnetic compatibility (hereinafter referred to as "EMC") risk assessment, the objects of risk assessment, risk criteria, risk assessment process, risk assessment tools, and guidelines for risk assessment report requirements. This guidance technical document is applicable to guiding the selection of appropriate EMC risk assessment techniques and conducting EMC risk assessments at the device level, system level, and engineering site level. This guidance technical document does not cover all EMC and risk assessment technologies. The technologies that are not introduced do not imply that they are ineffective.
