Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for energy measurement and monitoring methods of the heating quantity and other parameters in solar hot water systems.
This standard applies to solar hot water systems with a single storage tank with an effective volume greater than 0.6 m3, in which the heat transfer medium is in a liquid state during normal operation. It does not apply to hot water systems composed of multiple compact solar water heaters.
