Scope
This standard specifies the fire test apparatus, measurement devices, and test procedures for surface products in physical rooms.
This standard applies to wall interior and ceiling surface products, especially those that cannot be tested on a laboratory scale due to various reasons (such as the influence of insulating substrates, seams, or large irregular surfaces), such as thermoplastic materials.
This standard is not applicable to evaluating the fire resistance of products.
