Scope
This document specifies the technical content and requirements for the utilization of waste heat from low-temperature circulating water in thermal power plants in terms of heat load determination, system design, equipment selection, commissioning and acceptance, operation and maintenance. This document is applicable to the utilization of waste heat from the cold end of turbines using lithium bromide absorption heat pumps, but not to heating substations.
