Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging for the fatigue testing device of speed-differential fall arresters. This document is applicable to the fatigue testing device (referred to as the testing device) used for self-locking reliability of speed-differential fall arresters for personnel engaged in high-altitude work, climbing, and suspension operations for fall protection.
