This document specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, abbreviations, materials, product classification, requirements, system applicability, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) pipe fittings (hereinafter referred to as pipe fittings) made from chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) resin as the main raw material and injection molded. This document, together with other parts of GB/T 18998, applies to industrial chlorinated polyvinyl chloride piping systems, including pressure-bearing water supply and drainage systems, as well as fluid transmission piping systems in fields such as water treatment, petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, electronics, metallurgy, mining, shipping, electroplating, papermaking, food, and pharmaceuticals.
